The Romanian-American University celebrates its 30th anniversary this yearsince its foundation. We invite you to participate online with us in events dedicated to this important moment in the life of our academic community.

We are supporters of culture in education.
30 years of cultural projects have brought together hundreds of students eager to broaden their horizons of knowledge and training as people.
We enjoy a few cultural moments initiated by the university students and graduates, as well as the presence with us of some surprise guests who will delight our spirit and soul.
- Message of RAU Rector, Professor Costel Negricea, PhD
- Asian music and dance show by the “Angela Hondru” Romanian-Japanese Studies Center (CSRJ-AH) and the Center for Romanian-Korean Studies (CSRK) of the RAU:
– Japanese dance – Roxana Morăşanu, student of the Choreography High School “Floria Capsali” and student CSRJ-AH, reinterprets a famous Japanese piece, whose theme is the search, doubt, struggle to cross the border between who we are and who we want to be;
– Taiko (traditional Japanese drums) – Cristi Diaconu, Rau student, CSRJ-AH student and member of the Taiko band “Kodama Daiko” will perform a song – his own composition;
– Korean Dance – “Arirang” band consisting of Iasmina Petrovici, Elena Bortaş and Corina Sandu, CSRK students;
– Pureun Narae, samulnori band, Korean drums – with Elena Bortaş, Alexandra Bulea, Georgiana Drăgoi and Florentina Stefan, CSRK students.
- Play “The secrets of a relationship”:

- „World Experience: The impact of the pandemic on education” – live streaming
(Conference with international participation)
– perceptions and opinions on access to education in the pandemic year;
– technical solutions to facilitate teacher-student/student interaction;
– the impact of e-learning on the teacher-student relationship;
– models of good pedagogical practice applied in the educational process;
– the future of post-pandemic education.
These are concerns of the moment that we bring to the debate at the World Experience Conference: The Impact of the Pandemic on Education.
Face to face, the main actors – teachers and students – will exchange opinions and present personal perspectives of the implementation of the interaction mechanisms put into practice during the pandemic period.

- Debate – “Experiences and opportunities in student life” – live streaming
Each of us is looking for benchmarks to maximize our chances of success. The experience of older people can help us choose the path to a successful career.
“Experiences and opportunities in student life” gives you the opportunity to learn directly from the “source” (students and graduates) what it means to make good choices, what surprises your student life has for you and what professional perspectives you can have.
- Debate – “From generation to generation”
Are you a student? Do you want to find out how older people like you have coped with the challenges of college? Young people eager to share experiences are invited to take part in a dialogue as friends about interacting with academic environment.

“Youth Models” is an event that promotes the true models of Romania among young people, through a series of conferences/ debates, where they will listen to and identify with the guests. The project is intended to be the most powerful source of inspiration, ideas and motivation. It is one of the most demanding and ambitious projects implemented by CS-URA, and we believe in its success and the impact it can have among “YOUNG PEOPLE”.

Guest: Radu Constantin
Radu Constantin is a real model for today’s young people. He started working at the age of 18, and currently has 2 of the most successful online series in Romania. Radu is an actor, writer, director and entrepreneur – at the same time he is the founder of the marketing agency “Creative Stories”. His biggest dream is to get to Hollywood and to make the world a better place.

Guest: Eliza Chirilă-Pop
Eliza Chirilă-Pop studied Law at the Romanian-American University, was president of the Students Club (CS-URA), and was part of many student organizations as a volunteer. Eliza has been the Country Manager of the American Councils for International Education for more than 6 years now and in 2018 she founded the association “YEP – Let’s Discover Together”, that works for young people and children in Neamț County. She works in the field of education and activities with young people, and has been awarded on numerous occasions for her projects.

Guest: Gabriel Carnariu
Gabriel Carnariu, former president of the Youth Federation of Bacău, current president of the Romanian Youth Council, is an active person who successfully leads the activities of an entire organization targeting young people, their interests and rights in relations with institutions such as the Government of Romania or the Romanian Commercial Bank and beyond. Gabriel is a dynamic person who enjoys working with people and leading projects that inspire both other people and him.
