The members of the academic community of the Romanian-American University show their solidarity with the Ukrainian people and call for their support through donations and volunteering.

We launch the humanitarian campaign #PeaceUkraine and invite to #Solidarity. Our students, teachers and graduates use the platform of the Romanian Government “Ukraine – Together we help more” and those of non-governmental organizations to offer their support to both refugees and citizens who remained on the territory of Ukraine.

Non-perishable food, water and tea, medicines from pharmacies and producers, sleeping bags, clothing and shoes, are an invaluable help for those who today live the drama of their lives, being victims of a conflict that no one imagined possible in the present times.

At the same time, through the Center for Human Rights and Migration, we launched, together with the non-governmental bodies ”FăBine” and ”Code For Romania”, a form for centralizing the support offered by the Romanian society. Through the form available HERE (RO), we call on students and teachers from other universities, speaking Russian or Ukrainian, with competences in psychology or sociology, to voluntarily participate in support actions of counseling refugees, as well as to companies that can contribute with material resources.

At these moments, solidarity has no borders!
