Travel, Sport, Sun and Fun for 1st of May!

Between 28th of April and 1st of May 2023, the Romanian-American University, through the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the School of Physical Education, Sport, and Kinesiotherapy, is organizing the event “Travel, Sport, Sun and Fun”, part of RAUfest.

This 1st of May event announces the collaboration between RAU and Diamond Beach Club Sports, which will take shape through the building of Bucharest’s largest sand sports base.

The event promotes higher education through sports games, namely a beach volleyball competition that will take place over three days in Techirghiol, Vama Veche, and Costinesti. The prizes consist of a scholarship to the Romanian-American University, flights from Tuzla airdrome (on 1st of May), sports articles, and more.

Friday, 28th of April 2023 – Techirghiol:

• 11:00 – 11:30: Opening ceremony at the Botanical Garden in Techirghiol

• 11:30 – 15:00: Treasure Hunt – Discover the history and tourist attractions of Techirghiol

• 15:00 – 19:00: Demonstrative beach volleyball game at the Nautical Club in Techirghiol

• 19:00 – 21:00: Beach Party at the Nautical Club in Techirghiol

Saturday, 29th of April 2023 – Vama Veche:
