• PhD in Military Sciences, Strategy and Operative Art (since 1998);
• Associate University Professor at the Romanian-American University (since 2006), the School of Management-Marketing – ”Information Management” Master Program and the School of European Economic Studies –  ”Public Administration” course;
• Mediator and Conflicts Negotiator;
• Author and co-author of 11 books and more than 80 papers, published in Romania and abroad. Coordinated and took part within the board of 8 scientific research grants;
• Coordinates graduation and dissertation papers;
• Retired General since 2003, Counsellor on defense issues to the President of Romania (2001-2003), Counsellor to the Head of National Security Authority, Romanian Government (2003-2009).
