Short description:
- Senior scientific researcher III since 2016 at the Institute for World Economy of Romanian Academy. He holds a PhD in economics since 2014 from “National Institute for Economic Research Costin C. Kiritescu” of Romanian Academy with a thesis on “New protectionism and China. An approach from the perspective of the Austrian Economics School”.
- He also holds a Master degree in European Economic Studies and currently is Assistant Professor in “International Trade and Trade Policies”.
- He followed a series of training and documentation seminars within institutions such as: the Atlas Economic Research Foundation (New York), London School of Economics, Bocconi University( Italy), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), College of Europe (Natolin), Warsaw School of Economics (Poland), Reykjavik University (Iceland), Austrian Economic Centre (Vienna) and the European Commission.
- His work in editorial management is linked to the position of editor in chief of “The Review of Social and Economic Issues” journal which includes in its editorial board professors and researchers from universities such us: Harvard University, George Mason University, University of Manchester, Peace University or University of Angers.
- He is the coordinator of the ” Murray Rothbard” Center for Political Economy and Business within the Romanian-American University (Bucharest) – winner of the international competition “2011 Templeton Freedom Award” as the best academic world center, promoter of freedom, organized by Atlas Economic Research Foundation in the United States.
- Special award granted to the university professor dedicated to financial education awarded by The Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) within the EduFIN Gala held at the Palace of Parliament, March, 2018.
- Scholarship awarded by the Collective Management Society of Copyright – COPYRO, 2009

- international trade and trade policies, the Austrian economics school, praxeology, epistemology and economic methodology, and as fields of interest in empirical research focused on China’s economy, the analysis of economic and political institutions, policy analysis, in particular on free trade agreements and protectionist trade policy
