At the Senate Hall of the Romanian-American University, took place the Award Ceremony of the Certificate of Excellence offered to H.E. Mr. Kim Yong Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Romania, for the contribution to the development of bilateral relations, the promotion of Korean Culture in Romania and the ongoing support for the activities organized by the Romanian-Korean Studies Center and Korea Corner.
In the opening speech, Mr. Costel Negricea, Ph.D. Habil. Professor, Rector of the Romanian-American University, has emphasized the special merits of H.E. Kim Yong Ho regarding the promotion of cultural, economic and academic cooperation, as well as the appreciation for H.E.’s support in developing the young students’ passion for Korean culture.
The event welcomed the participation of special guests: Mr. Ovidiu Folcuț Ph.D. Professor, President of the Senate of the Romanian-American University, Mr. Tudor Edu Ph.D. Habil. Professor, Vicerector of the Romanian-American University, Mr. Alexandru Aldoescu, Head of HR Samsung Romania, Mrs. Lee Soo Jin, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania, Prof. Mrs. Mariana Stan, Director of the Dor Mărunt School, representatives of the Department of Asian Studies and constant collaborators in the events organized by CSRK in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the groups Pureun Narae, KROWN and Syzygy.
