In accordance with the Decision of the Senate of the Romanian-American University, dated 2nd of February 2022, regarding the starting and carrying out the teaching activities in the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022, we communicate the following:
The teaching activities for the bachelor and master study programs, full-time education (ZI), from the Economics Schools and from the School of Law, will be carried out online and face-to-face on campus *, by rotation, as follows:
- 1st year = week 4 – 10th of April 2022 (bachelor and master)
- 2nd year = week 11 – 17th of April 2022 (bachelor and master)
- 3rd and 4th year (Law School) = week 18 – 21st of April 2022
For the students of the School of Physical Education, Sport and Kinesiotherapy (EFSK), the practical activities, which can be carried out outdoors, will be organized at the Sports Base, in the face-to-face format, within the limits of the legal provisions.
The teaching activities of the bachelor’s degree programs, part-time studies (IFR) will be carried out online.
The teaching activities of the English taught bachelor and master programs will be carried out in a mixed system (face-to-face and online presence), depending on the specifics of the study programs, the type of teaching activities and the epidemiological conditions, and the students will be notified 2 weeks before the teaching activities will take place on campus.
The decision to carry out classes in online format is meant to protect the health of students, professors and the RAU administrative staff in the current pandemic context, as well as to offer the possibility of gradual resumption of the interaction within the campus.
* Carrying out the teaching activities face-to-face, on campus, is possible when the infection rate in Bucharest will be below 6 per thousand inhabitants.
