Admission FAQs
Yes, you can apply even if you don’t have an internationally recognized certificate, as long as you have an upper intermediate level of English. If your previous studies were fully taught in English or if you have an internationally recognized certificate such as IELTS, Toefl, CAE you will be accepted without taking an additional test. However, if this is not the case, you will be scheduled for an English Online Placement Test.
No, there is no age limit for any of our programs. The admission is granted based on the evaluation of your file, the Skype interview, and the English test (if applicable).
The admission is open all year round. However, the academic year always starts in October and, in order for your application to be taken into consideration for the current academic year, you should apply before 25th of August. Moreover, since the admission is a complex process which involves receiving the letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Education (which might take over 4 weeks), receiving the study visa (which also might take 1-2 months), therefore it is highly recommended to start the application as early as possible.
Transfer might be possible if there are enough similar courses in your program with the courses included in our curriculum. In order to verify this, please send us your transcript from the other university, as well as the description of each course. In case your university is not registered in the international data base we have access to, we might also ask you to send us a proof that the program you currently study is accredited at an international level.
If, after verifying your academic documents and after having the Skype interview (and English test if necessary), you can be accepted as a transfer student, your file will be sent to the Ministry of Education, in order to issue the letter of acceptance for studies for the second year of studies. If transfer is not possible, you can still apply from the first year, and, in this case, we will also submit the file to the Ministry of Education & Research, in order to obtain the letter of acceptance for the first year of studies.
There is no minimum GPA required for being accepted to our university. In our university, admission is granted based on several criteria: overall verification of the documents submitted, Skype interview, English certificate (or English test). While the GPA itself is not a criteria for being admitted or rejected, good academic results always represent an advantage which increase applicants’ chances of being accepted.
Yes, there is no problem if there is a gap between your studies. We are aware that many applicants decide to also gain some work experience after completing some of their studies therefore we support them doing this and we encourage their decision to continue their academic path at a later stage.
One of the conditions for obtaining the student visa is making the proof of having paid the tuition fee for the first academic year in advance. From this perspective, the payment for the first academic year needs to be done in full, in advance.
Starting with the second year, it is possible to make the payment of the tuition fee in two installments.
