- Associate Professor ȘTEFAN-ALEXANDRU IONESCU, PhD, is an analyst economist, specialist in cybernetics and economic forecast, graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He has a Master in Financial Management and Capital Markets, as well as a doctorate in Economic Cybernetics and Statistics, which he obtained in 2011 at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He pursued post-doctoral studies at the Romanian Academy with a research internship at the University of Manchester.
- He has been a teaching staff member since 2004, now having over 17 years of experience in higher education and scientific research, and being tenured at the Department of IT, Statistics and Mathematics at the Romanian-American University since 2005, as well as an associate teaching staff member at the University of Bucharest, collaborating throughout time with prestigious institutions in Romania and abroad.
- Mister Ionescu is a member of the School Council at the School of Domestic and International Tourism Economics starting with 2012, the Dean of the School of Domestic and International Tourism Economics since May 2020, and a member of the Administration Board of the Romanian-American University.
- Moreover, he has a rich entrepreneurial experience, being involved in numerous projects ever since 2002. He has coordinated businesses in areas such as: data analysis consultancy, artificial intelligence, international people and freight transport, expeditions, logistics, import-export, sales, professional training. Between 2008-2014 he has coordinated a series of projects financed from European funds for the axes POR, PNDR, POSDRU.
