The Opening Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Academic Year will take place on 30th of September
A new academic year is about to begin with many new projects and limitless opportunities for our students’ development and learning!
The Opening Ceremony of the new Academic Year 2024-2025 will take place on 30th of September 2024, at 10:00 AM, in the Grand Hall of the Romanian-American University (C building, 1st floor), where we look forward to welcoming you as many as possible.
Important guests from our academic community will participate in this special event, which marks a crucial new step in the educational journey. They will be joined by RAU professors and administrative staff, senior students, and especially the freshmen, accompanied by their loved ones, who, amidst waves of emotions triggered by the beginning of a new important chapter in their lives, can’t wait to meet their professors and classmates.
Students, both freshmen and senior year students, are kindly asked to confirm their participation at the event by filling in the online form available here, no later than 27th of September 2024, at 2 PM.
The University Opening Ceremony will be followed by the Schools’ Opening Ceremonies, which will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 1st of October and 2nd of October 2024, according to the following schedule:
TUESDAY, 1st of October 2024
- School of Computer Science For Business Management – starting at 10 AM, in the Grand Hall (C building, 1st floor)
- School of Management-Marketing – starting at 1 PM, in the Grand Hall (C building, 1st floor)
- School of International Business – starting at 4 PM, in the Grand Hall (C building, 1st floor)
WEDNESDAY, 2nd of October 2024
- School of Tourism and Hospitality Management – starting at 10 AM, in the Grand Hall (C building, 1st floor)
- School of Physical Education, Sport And Kinesiotherapy – starting at 12 PM, at RAU Sport Center (4-6 Străulești St., 1st District, Bucharest)
- School of Finance and Accounting – starting at 2 PM, in the Senate Room (C building, 1st floor)
- School of Law – starting at 4 PM, in the Grand Hall (C building, 1st floor)
