OUTGOING STAFF TEACHING / TRAINING
TEACHING MOBILITIES
Teaching Mobilities (STA) enable the academic staff of the Romanian-American University to conduct short-term teaching activities at a partner higher education institution abroad. The mobilities are organized based on interinstitutional agreements of RAU.
The minimum duration of a teaching mobility is 2 working days, and the activities must cover a minimum of 8 teaching hours / week. The recommended duration is 5 working days.
The teaching mobility should not be limited to teaching activities; participation and involvement in other types of activities must also be considered:
- presentation about Romania and the Romanian-American University;
- meetings with relevant representatives of the host institution;
- participation in courses, examinations, tests, etc. at the host university;
- visits to partner companies / institutions;
- meetings with representatives of the local community and civil society;
- thematic visits;
- monitoring RAU students abroad.
It is highly recommended to plan the teaching mobilities within events organized by partner universities: International Week, Staff Training Week, Blended Intensive Programmes, specialized training courses, workshops, etc. Please check the Announcements and Invitations sent by our partner universities. Information on such events can also be found on the websites of RAU partner universities or the IMOTION platform

TRAINING MOBILITIES
Training Mobilities (STT) enable the academic and administrative staff of the Romanian-American University to conduct short-term training activities at foreign universities or institutions, with which URA has interinstitutional agreements.
The minimum duration of a training mobility is 2 working days, the recommended duration being 5 working days, with activities for at least 6 hours / day.
In addition to the agreed training program, participation and involvement in other types of activities must also be considered:
- presentation about Romania and the Romanian-American University;
- meetings with relevant representatives of the host institution;
- job shadowing activities within the corresponding departments of the host institution;
- participation in courses, examinations, tests, etc. at the host university;
- visits to partner companies / institutions;
- meetings with representatives of the local community and civil society;
- thematic visits;
- monitoring RAU students abroad.

TRAINING PROGRAMS
TEACHING / TRAINING MOBILITIES IN PARTNER COUNTRIES
The teaching mobilities (STA) and training mobilities (STT) in Partner Countries enable the academic staff of the Romanian-American University to conduct short-term teaching/training activities at foreign universities, from a country that is not included in the Erasmus+ Program, based on RAU interinstitutional agreements and available funds.
The minimum duration of a teaching / training mobility in Partner Countries is 5 consecutives working days. The teaching activities must cover a minimum of 8 teaching hours / week and the training activities for at least 6 hours / day.
The teaching / training mobilities should not be limited to teaching / training activities; participation and involvement in other types of activities must also be considered:
- presentation about Romania, the Romanian-American University, and the European Union values;
- meetings with relevant representatives of the host institution, regarding: clarification of aspects related to implementation of the Erasmus+ KA171 mobility projects; the process of recognition of mobility results for KA171 student mobilities to RAU (documents, procedures); respecting and promoting EU values by the partner university;
- participation in courses, examinations, tests, etc. at the host university;
- visits to partner companies / institutions;
- meetings with representatives of the local community and civil society;
- thematic visits;
- monitoring RAU students abroad.
