Short description:
- Graduate of the National Academy of Physical Education and Sport in 1992 (with double specialization, skiing and fencing), I spent the first years of my career teaching in that institution. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to live and practice in countries such as Canada, the United States and Australia.
- If initially I was prepared for a career related to sports training and performance, later I began to be concerned about the traumas specific to certain sports subjects, their potential to limit the physical and mental capacity of those affected, implicitly the recovery of athletes from the injuries suffered.
- In these conditions, it was natural the decision I made, namely to deepen the knowledge in the field of Physical Therapy and Special Motricities, a field in which I became a bachelor’s degree.
- Relatively recently returned to the country, I became a tenured professor of the School of Physical Education, Sport and Kinesiotherapy shortly after its establishment within the Romanian-American University.
