Short Description:

Mihaela Prună is an Associate Professor at the Romanian-American University, with over 25 years of academic experience.
She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology since 2006, specializing in Family Sociology, Organizational Psychosociology, Interpersonal Communication, Public Relations, Organizational Communication, and Victimology.
She is focused on areas of interest such as “Sociology of Education” and “Communication and Public Relations Strategies”.
She has attained higher professional education through specialized university and doctoral studies: she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Sociology, Psychology, and Pedagogy at the University of Bucharest, and earned her Ph.D. in Family Sociology.
She has been dedicated to teaching since 1996 and has been involved in university management activities since 2011, as Dean and, later on, Vice-President.
She has also collaborated as an associate lecturer with the University of Bucharest – Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences.
Professionally, she has over 25 years of experience as a journalist and more than 20 years in press management.
She has developed, led, and implemented over 20 press and PR campaigns in fields such as social, political, and economic areas.
