- Stan Elena Amelia is an Associate Professor Ph.D., with training in Physical Education and Sport;
- She has a Ph.D. in the field of Physical Education and Sports since 2003;
- She followed the stages of promotion in the academic career in parallel with the organization and evolvement in performance sports within the Acvatica Sport Sports Club as president and swimming coach;
- She published 9 books, numerous articles in ISI indexed journals, in BDI journals and in the volumes of national and international conferences;
- She is the head of department at the School of School of Physical Education, Sport and Kinesiotherapy.
