Considering the end of the state of alert in Romania, starting with 9th of March 2022, the Note of the Ministry of Education no. 71 / DGIU / 08.03.2022, based on the university autonomy, respecting the principle of public responsibility and concerned about the situation in which its students will find themselves, as a result of this legislative change in a very short time, the Romanian-American University considers it is absolutely necessary to have a transitional period that will allow RAU students to take all the steps required to adapt as best they can to the new context.
Therefore, on the 9th of March 2022, the Senate of the Romanian-American University decided to resume all activities on the University Campus, in a face-to-face system, starting with the 2nd module and to establish a transitional period (for all study cycles), necessary for the full return in optimal conditions, for the activities with physical presence in the Campus and for ensuring an adequate quality of the academic activity as a whole.
The activities related to the aforementioned transitional period and which will not be able to be carried out properly in this period, will be recovered by the end of the second semester, according to a program / schedule to be communicated at the level of each school.
Members of the RAU academic community will receive additional information regarding this decision, via institutional email addresses, within a maximum of 48 hours.
