The Opening Ceremony of The New Academic Year 2023-2024 represents a fresh start for the academic community
The New Academic Year 2023-2024 at the Romanian-American University was inaugurated with a grand Opening Ceremony. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a vast number of students, their families, professors, alumni, and official representatives from the Embassies of the United States of America, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India and UNICEF representatives . Additionally, the ceremony was graced by eminent representatives from the business sector, including Le French Tech, PWC, and H in HR. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new academic cycle for the upcoming generation of students.
During his speech, prof. univ.dr. habil Costel Negricea, Rector of the Romanian-American University, spoke to the students about the numerous opportunities available to them and the significance of participating in campus activities that aid their growth academically and personally. His message inspired the students to pursue learning and innovation, which are the guiding principles of the university: “Throughout time, it has been proven that the only truly inexhaustible resource of mankind remains his capacity to learn and innovate. These two principles have defined the concerns of the Romanian-American University for over three decades. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to extend a warm Welcome to the Romanian-American University!“
At the ceremony, both professors and guests imparted valuable advice and shared experiences gathered throughout their careers with those present in the auditorium. The goal was to provide guidance for students throughout their university journey, inspiring and offering perspective on their academic and professional future.
The Academic Year 2023-2024 Opening Ceremony at Romanian-American University was a momentous occasion that united the academic community, embassy representatives, and business professionals to commemorate the start of a new chapter in students’ education and development.
