The Truth about AI: Separating Hype from Reality

The School of Computer Science for Business Management within the Romanian-American University, through its Center for Research in AI (CRAI), has the pleasure to invite the University’s faculty and students to the event „The Truth about AI: Separating Hype from Reality” organized in partnership with Optimizd.AI, under the auspices of RAU Science Talks series of events. 

The event will be held in English on Wednesday, 27th of March 2024, starting at 7 PM, in the RAU Senate Hall (C building, 1st floor).

Our guest speaker is Mihai Bizovi, Head of Data Science @ Adore Me.

This event will dispel common myths about AI’s capabilities and limitations, providing a realistic perspective on current technologies, what AI can and cannot do, and addressing the media’s role in shaping public perception.

Participation at the event will be considered Extracurricular Activity for the RAU students if they register with their institutional email address @stud.rau.ro on the online Registration Form (click here!), before attending the event.
