Short description:
- Associate Professor, TIMNEA OLIVIA CARMEN, PhD, Vice-Dean of the School of Physical Education, Sport and Kinesiotherapy within RAU, is a primary physician in sports medicine and family medicine (January 2020).
- From the point of view of her teaching activity, she worked from September 1997 until January 2000 as a junior teaching assistant at the Ecological University of Bucharest, School of Physical Education and Sport, Department of Anatomy and Physiology.
- Also at the Ecological University of Bucharest, School of Physical Education and Sport, Department of Anatomy and Physiology, she was teaching assistant (January 2000 – February 2002), PhD lecturer in sports medicine (March 2003 – February 2008).
- Subsequently, within the Department of Medical Subjects of the Ecological University of Bucharest, School of Physical Education and Sport, she was the head of the PhD papers (September 2008 – 2012) and Associate Professor Doctor (March 2013 – January 2020), respectively Doctor of the Ecological University of Bucharest, with competence of Occupational Medicine.
- Since 2014 she is a Doctor of Occupational Medicine at the National Institute of Medical-Military Research and Development “Cantacuzino” and coordinating physician of the vaccination center of the “Cantacuzino” Institute, and since 2009 she is the General Director of S.C. Chiajna Medical Center.

Fields of interest/research:
- Sports medicine: Participation in sports competitions, cantonments, establishment of medications in specialized traumatology, therapeutic and recovery conducts, food rations, both at junior level (around 500 performance athletes – football, handball, wrestling, volleyball, tennis) and Seniorate (first league football) national teams
- Coordination and monitoring of the sports activities that take place within the Concordia Chiajna Club
