Tom Hanson, Commercial Attaché of the US Embassy spoke about commercial diplomacy at RAU
Mr. Tom Hanson, commercial attaché of the Embassy of the United States of America in Romania, visited RAU on 18th of January 2023, at the invitation of the School of International Business within RAU.
He spoke to our students about commercial diplomacy and the responsibilities of those working in the field, about related topics such as foreign investment or respecting intellectual property rights. The students had the chance to learn essential business information directly from a professional of the Embassy of the United States of America in Romania.
The United States Commercial Service helps US companies enter Romanian market or expand here, also aids Romanian companies invest in the USA. Mr. Hanson brought up important information about the workflow and essential development points of the service that he represents.
During his visit, Mr. Tom Hanson approached also topics such as: building revenue for US exports, Advocacy and foreign direct investment to help Romanian companies, all of which were of great interest to our students.
